Hi,
I am Richard, owner of The Richard Nicholson Design Studio and Lowtide Swimwear and Apparel. The salon was established in 1984, starting out as Le Mont Coiffures, located in Mount Vernon Pennsylvania and then moving to White Oak in 1998 and becoming the salon as you see and know it as today. Lowtide Swimwear and Apparel opened May of 2005 and is the latest addition to my ever growing business. I have been self-employed for a little over 24 years now and can honestly say, "I still like doing hair and enjoy my job". I have a very talented staff of hair designers and 2 receptionists /assistants. Our staff is like my family. My clients are like good friends and family as well, some of who have been coming to our salon for 24 years. Our shop offers down to earth, honest to goodness hair styling in a comfortable, clean, friendly environment. My husband Steve and I even decorated the entire place ourselves. I am also the father of a 19 year old daughter named Kylie. (she's beautiful) I have been together with Steve since 1999 and love our life together as partners in life and business. Steve has 2 girls Melody and Sophia who have become my kids too. We enjoy our time we have with them. I strive to do my best everyday and take nothing for granted. To the people who are coming to our salon for the first time...WELCOME !!! To those who have supported us over the past years...THANKYOU !!!
